Who we are & how Platforma is born
The idea of Doshka Foundation was born a bit by accident during the spring of 2023. After a first experience of a few months as volunteers here in Kyiv, mostly delivering medical supplies to the ones in need, we concluded that the way humanitarian aid was provided was not the right one... We started to think about Doshka Foundation as a non-profit that would do just the same as other volunteer organisations regarding the substance, but everything differently regarding the methodology, the approach.

However, almost immediately, we realised that this approach should be enhanced to all volunteer organisations since everyone seemed to agree with the statement:
Many aspects of the humanitarian ecosystem could be & should be rationalized, centralized, digitalized & streamlined.
We just needed to build our own tool.
What problems do we face here in Ukraine?

What problems do we face here in Ukraine?
This decentralized & scattered eco-system, appeared, at the beginning of the conflict, as a good temporary solution, giving all actors agility & autonomy.. It progressively reached out its own limits.. and started originating major issues:

CEO & Founder
Alexis is also founder of the charity organisation Doshka Foundation, which dedicates itself to the sourcing and distribution of medical supplies & equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is 36, French, and has lived in Kyiv, Ukraine, since May 2022.
